This is one of my favourite examples of aventurine in combination with zinc silicate. The aventurine has bled into the zinc silicate crystalline glaze creating a dynamic series of striations.<\/span><\/p>\n

An example of one of my manganese silicate glazes. This is a rare example with iron aventurine on the neck. The manganese glaze is lustrous with golden striations created by the flow of the aventurine. This is a very difficult piece to light and photograph.<\/span><\/p>\n
