The subtle colours of this piece are caused by iron oxide. The ground is dusky purple with small secondary crystals giving a mottled variation in colour. The primary crystals are ivory to very\u00a0 pale green with vivid structure and pronounced growth rings.<\/p>\n
This is my only remaining piece with this glaze, it has been at the back of my storage shelves for years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
