Blue and purple crystalline with iron khaki. This porcelain body created a slightly different result with my blue and purple crystalline glaze. The ground is opaque and set with tiny purple crystals and larger blue secondaries. The primary crystals are vivid sith a strongly developed holographic character.<\/p>\n
I photographed this piece in two locations of significance for me. One at Ripponden in a location where Richard Feynman and Fred Hoyle met to discuss physics in the 1980s, the other close to the start of a cycle event – it was my first win.<\/p>\n
As a teenager I was inspired by Feynman. I didn’t meet him. I did meet Fred Hoyle. He gave a talk in Cambridge in 1989 on the subject of panspermia.\u00a0<\/p>\n
