My banded crystal growing cycle has given an unusual result with this glaze. The primary crystals are dark with tones of charcoal and bronze set off with pronounced concentric growth rings. The ground is almost entirely filled with secondary crystals with a texture that recalls the beauty of our moorland birds. Bright lighting is needed to bring out the character of this subtle piece.<\/p>\n
