Iron red in combination with my green/tan crystalline glaze has created a piece where warm tones dominate. The primary crystals are exceptionally vivid.

CJ0. Autumn in the Colden Valley. The warm tones of the piece are complemented by the setting of fallen beech nuts and leaves.

This glaze often produces small fern-like crystals. The image below shows the beautiful sixfold symmetry of the crystalline form.
