Description
Iron red on the neck gives this form an additional bold statement. Two glaze firings have altered the character of the crystalline glaze. The primary crystals have pronounced growth rings with the colour varying from pale blue to dusky brown. The ground is complex with regions of strong secondary development and others with a striking pink blush. The ground has a subtle crackle, the result of the second glaze firing.
