Description
This is the first time that I have glazed the interior of a bowl entirely with iron red. The piece has been through the glaze firing twice and that has given an unusual response form the zinc silicate glaze on the outside. The extreme heat treatment of two firing cycles has produced a scattering of pinholes in the glaze that give a slightly rustic feel.
