Description
Black and mid blue glazes are combined to emphasise the bold form on this piece. The neck has a fine dusting of pyroxene crystals that complement the inner growth rings of the vivid primary crystals.
Lighting conditions were particularly challenging. Bright overcast conditions make it difficult to expose the body correctly and can create unattractive highligts. All the shots here use flash fill to compensate.
