Description
Iron aventurine and iron gold crystalline glazes. Interaction between the two glazes has produced a complex pattern and fiery red intermediate band. For this piece I made a small change to the chemistry of my iron gold glaze that emphasises the dusky pink blush in the background.
Photographed on a sunny morning following an overnight storm, the lighting conditions were excellent bringing out the richness and complexity.
